Day 85 - Scratchy

My friend Emma's old Muscovy, Scratchy.

Over eight years old - a good innings for a duck.

Day 74 - Five Minutes on a South Coast Beach

This is what I picked up in just five minutes walking along a remote, south coast beach.
Rope, cans, bottles, plastic bags, cigarette butts, etc.
It was a decent walk over some rough terrain to get to this spot. I ended up taking two shopping bags worth of other people's rubbish with me. It wasn't that hard.
What sort of person leaves their rubbish on a beach?
Take it with you, you lazy bastards.

A present arrived for me in the mail today (thank you, Joanna!) so I took a photo of Aiden through its old viewfinder.

Day 68 - Eight

Today, Evie turned eight.
To celebrate, she made herself a birthday hat that read - "Happy Birthday To Myself".

Day 66 - Dunna Dunna

Otherwise known as Lawrencia helmsii.
Found near a local lake, and one of the funkiest-looking plants I've seen.
